Your First Visit

After scheduling your first visit with one of our practitioners, please download and complete the appropriate forms below and bring them with you on the day of your appointment. This visit will generally be about an hour and a half long. The first half of the visit will have a detailed intake and evaluation as well as a pulse and tongue check. The first acupuncture treatment will be given and the needles will be retained for about 25 minutes. After the session, most feel relaxed or invigorated. Your practitioner will then discuss with you dietary, herbal and lifestyle recommendations and will layout a treatment protocol for the next few weeks/months. Follow-up visits will entail an update of health and an acupuncture treatment and usually lasts for about 45-55 minutes in total.

Please remember to wear comfortable clothing and eat a little something before coming. If you are coming for fertility treatments, bloodwork results, Western diagnosis/findings and 1-2 of your last BBT charts are helpful to bring in.
