When choosing a practitioner, make sure that they are nationally certified by the NCCAOM commission. All practitioners in the state of New Jersey must also pass state boards as well.

 

About the Practitioners

   

Candace Jania, L.Ac. FABORM

Candace Jania is the owner and founder of the Acupuncture Center for Reproductive Health. After receiving a B.A. from Pennsylvania State University, she continued her studies with a post-graduate pre-med curriculum from Hunter College in NYC. She then attended the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine where she received her Master's Level Degree. Candace is licensed both nationally (NCCAOM) and in the state of NJ (L.Ac.). She received one of the tops scores to become board certified as a Fellow on the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine. She is an Executive Board Member of the New Jersey Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is also a member of RESOLVE and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). She has had extensive training and experience with issues concerning reproductive health- specifically fertility, pregnancy and gynecological imbalances.

Because of her personal story of infertility, Candace has much compassion and empathy for those trying to conceive and now has her own success story to share.

Kamini Patel L.Ac.

Kamini Patel is a licensed acupuncturist, certified herbalist and practitioner of traditional oriental medicine in New Jersey and New York. She received her education at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Manhattan and also is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

Kamini is experienced in treating fertility, pregnancy, stress, pain and musculoskeletal problems.. She also has treated pediatric issues, such as eczema, sleep, and digestion. Kamini's practicing style and interests include using japanese and 5 elements acupuncture, herbs, acupressure, nutrition, and meditation for treatment. Outside of work, Kamini is a mother of two young girls and enjoys reading and cooking.
